The national government announced from Paris (where Argentina Week develops) 2 new investments for more than US$ 16,240 million in the framework of the Regime
It is from Pluspetrol and GyP companies for a project in the Bajo del Choique – La Invernada block. The announcement was made in Paris within the framework of the Argentine Week where meetings of entrepreneurs and governors follow.
The development of Bajo del Choique-La Invernada includes an investment of 25 years, more than 620 wells and a production that will exceed 100,000 barrels of oil per day and 12 million cubic meters of gas per day
The Big Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI) added two large-scale projects that, together, include investments of $16.4 billion: the development of Bajo del Choique-La Invernada, in Vaca Muerta, by Pluspetrol together with Gas and Petroleo del Neuquén (GyP), and the Agua Rica-MARA project, by Glencore, in Catamarca.
The Evaluation Committee of the Incentive Regime for Large Investments (RIGI) approved this Friday the entry of the project presented by Pluspetrol and Gas and Petroleum of Neuquén (GyP) for the Block Bajo del Choique-La Invernada for US$ 12.4 billion.
