Plenković: The government reduces VAT, and the price of products increases

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković noted in Gospić that the government constantly lowers VAT, and then it happens that the price of all those products that have reduced the tax burden increases.

The Government of the Republic of Serbia has adopted several amended decrees and decisions whose validity is due on 31 October 2022, according to which, among other things, the prices of white sugar crystal and fresh chicken carcass were corrected, the Government announced. The new highest price of crystal sugar will be 109.99 dinars per kilogram, and fresh chicken meat in the future will cost 319 dinars per kilogram, Tanjug announced.
