The Pittsburgh Pirates received a Competitive Balance Round B draft pick, and they used it on third baseman Murf Gray from Fresno State with the 73rd overall pick.  Gray, 21, slashed .324/.398/.639 with 22 doubles, 18 home runs and 73 RBI in 60 games during his junior year in 2025.
