On February 23, 2026, Pinehouse RCMP received a report that a male inmate escaped from Besnard Lake Correctional Camp. Pinehouse RCMP have been working to locate the male and are now asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of 36-year-old Thomas Hunt.
