The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has appointed Swiss national Mr. Pierre Ducrey as its new sports director, effective from 1 July. Ducrey takes over the position from Mr Kit McConnell, who will assume the role of Chief Sport Officer for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee.
