Jurors Hear Brand Accuser Say He Had 'Snake-Like' Body
The complainant said Brand raped her after she invited him to her hotel room, and police interview footage was played to jurors.
On Thursday, Southwark Crown Court was shown photographs of English entertainer Russell Brand taken by a woman who alleges he raped her in a hotel room during a 1999 Labour Party conference in Bournemouth.
The complainant alleges Brand raped her after she invited him to her hotel room to continue discussing politics, believing he was gay and posed no threat at the time.
Testifying about the encounter, the woman described how Brand initially acted "camp, friendly and effeminate" before turning "monster-like," forcing her to photograph him while he was "prancing" in "horrible budgie smugglers."
In heated exchanges with barrister Ian Winter KC, the woman insisted she did not consent, telling the court: "I can 100% tell you I did not consent, I did not find him attractive."
Brand, 51, denies all charges relating to six women over a 10-year period from 1999, including three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, and one count of indecent assault; the trial continues.
