MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) on Wednesday, December 31, warned that debris is expected to fall in Philippine waters after the launch of a Chinese rocket.The identified drop zones are 45 nautical miles (NM) from Burgos, Ilocos Norte; 67 NM from Dalupiri Island, Cagayan; 64 NM from Santa Ana, Cagayan; and 76 NM from Camiguin Norte.The Long March 7A was launched from Wenchang, China, at 6:40 am.
The Chinese state-owned company CASC (China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation) announced this Thursday (January 1, 2025) that it broke its record for space launches in 2025.
