Phillies to host 2026 All-Star game declaration
PHILADELPHIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, JUL 18 – Philadelphia will host its first MLB All-Star Game in 30 years during America's 250th anniversary, featuring the Home Run Derby and Futures Game, MLB said.
- On July 18, 2025 at Dilworth Park, the Phillies and MLB unveiled the logo, and Mayor Parker revealed a banner at City Hall.
- First announced in 2019, the selection of Philadelphia aligns with America’s 250th anniversary, and marks the first baseball All-Star Game here since 1996 at Veterans Stadium.
- At Citizens Bank Park, the U.S. Navy Leap Frog team parachuted in, legends Abreu and Howard threw first pitches, and Questlove drummed up the unveiling.
- ‘Today is just the beginning,’ said John Middleton, reflecting on the upcoming festivities and excitement for 2026. The Phillies expect a jam-packed week, according to Michael Harris.
- Looking ahead to next summer, Philadelphia will host the July 14, 2026, All-Star Game, accompanied by Derby, Futures Game, Draft, and Village.
