A dozen or so miners from the closed Wujek mine in Katowice, who returned on Monday morning to protest against the Polish Mining Group's (PGG) decisions regarding the mine's closure, have been replaced by the next shift. Miners underground are refraining from working. "The strike itself is illegal, but we will strive to reach an agreement with the crew," reads the PGG statement.
