Canada and five Nordic countries reach agreement on closer cooperation
It is important that Finland maintains a consistent line in legislation related to nuclear weapons.
The Prime Minister says the facts are in favour of a change in the law. The prime ministers of other Nordic countries also stated their positions on nuclear weapons.
The heads of government of five Northern European countries declared that they do not want nuclear weapons stored on the territory of any of their countries. Participants at the Oslo meeting also expressed concern about the continued course of the war in Iran, not ruling out the possibility that it might last longer than the leaders of Israel and the United States have declared.
