No such storage facility will be built under the Tisza government, neither at the Hungarian-Ukrainian border nor elsewhere, Hungarian Péter said in parliament on Monday regarding the alleged Ukrainian fuel storage facilities. According to the prime minister, negotiations on the issue began under the previous government, and he called MOL's behavior unacceptable.
The Hungarian oil company told our newspaper how long the preparations might take and when the Hungarian government would be involved in the process.
"MOL began negotiating this during your administration, with the authorization of the Orbán government," the prime minister told the Fidesz and KDNP faction leaders.
Several years of preparatory work on the storage of Ukrainian hydrocarbon will begin, Mol informed about the announcement that a memorandum has been signed with Naftohaz on the storage of petroleum products in Hungary.
