In an interview with the Finnish daily Helsingin Sanomat, Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced that his government considers a complete rewrite of the constitution to be its most important task. The Prime Minister also spoke about his planned meeting with the Ukrainian president next week, the need to reduce dependence on Russian energy, and the importance of an independent judiciary and social dialogue.
The Prime Minister also spoke to a Helsingin Sanomat journalist about constitutional plans, EU funds, Ukrainian and Russian relations, and socio-political issues.
"Anyone who really has an appointment will get an interview," the prime minister referred to the fiasco a few days earlier, when the Norwegian media claimed that Magyar refused to give them an interview.
The Hungarian Prime Minister spoke to the Finnish HS in Viktor Orbán's former prime minister's office, and he also mentioned the case that caused a lot of controversy in the Norwegian public media.
He gave an interview to a Finnish newspaper in an unusual location, Karmelita.
