Appeals court to hear oral arguments in Greenwood Park Mall shooting lawsuit

The Indiana Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments next week in a negligence lawsuit filed against Simon Property Group and Allied Universal Security Services over the 2022 Greenwood Park Mall shooting. GREENWOOD, Ind. – Police are investigating an early Monday morning shooting in Greenwood. Officers responded just before 3 a.m. to Dietz Drive. That's east of I-65 near East Main Street and Commerce Parkway E. Drive. Officials said one person was shot multiple times and taken to an Indianapolis hospital. One person has been taken into custody. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
