Penrith Beach in Western Sydney remains closed after a man drowned on Tuesday. Crews were called around 2:30pm on Tuesday after the 35-year-old went swimming but failed to resurface. Police divers, helicopters and the SES were brought in to assist with efforts. His body was found just after 6pm. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
