Penguins pick courtship pebbles at Edinburgh Zoo as breeding season begins
Over 1,000 painted pebbles were offered by children and visitors to gentoo penguins at Edinburgh Zoo to aid nest building and mate selection this breeding season.

- With a colony of more than 100 gentoo penguins, visitors who purchased pebbles participated in the Feb. 18 event, supporting nesting selection.
