In question is a publication on the social networks of 2021 in which Frazon suggested that José Manuel Pureza could have practiced a sexual crime.
The BE coordinator stated that his expectation that "they feel that they can contribute so that public life can be more decent".
The deputy of the Avga Pedro Frazão was sentenced by the Criminal Court of Lisbon to payment of four thousand euros, between fine and compensation, for defaming José Manuel Pureza through a publication on social networks in 2021. The court concluded that the declarations reached the honor and good name of the Bloquist leader
The issue stemmed from a social media post in which the Chega party MP raised suspicions that José Manuel Pureza might have committed a "crime against sexual freedom and self-determination."
The vice president of the Arri, Pedro Frazon, was this Wednesday sentenced by the Criminal Court of Lisbon to pay a fine of two thousand euros for the crime of defamation against José Manuel Pureza, current coordinator of the Left Block. Upon leaving the court, the defense immediately announced that it will appeal the decision.
