Durham Region is letting pedestrians know a tunnel below Bowmanville Avenue will be closed for two weeks. The tunnel, which is between Waverly Road and Hartwell Avenue and connects Alonna Steet to Rosalynne Avenue, will be closed from July 21 to August 5.
