BRIDGEWATER, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- New York State Police are continuing to investigate an accident on Monday that killed a pedestrian from Utica. Pedestrian struck and killed while walking on Route 8 in Bridgewater

Troopers said the victim was walking in the roadway of Route 8 near Mapledale Road when they were struck by a southbound 2018 Dodge Caravan at about 11:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11. Troopers said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
