- Although Ducati did not specify the condition, Motorsport.com understands Bagnaia was treated for compartment syndrome, a common forearm issue among MotoGP riders caused by intense physical demands.
- Professor Luigi Tarallo performed the operation at the Orthopaedic Clinic of the Policlinico di Modena, which the team confirmed was completed successfully and without complications.
- Bagnaia will use the three-week summer break to begin his rehabilitation, with the goal of returning for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone from August 7-9.
- The former world champion currently sits eighth in the MotoGP standings, trailing leader Jorge Martin by 65 points during his final season with the Ducati Lenovo Team.
