"Canada will not pay for a seat on the Gaza Peace Council," said the country's Prime Minister on Sunday, who was invited the day before by the U.S. President to become a member.
Trump's "Peace Council" is supposed to monitor the transition in the Gaza Strip. Now there are further plans. Members have to contribute a billions if they want to be there permanently.
"Canada will not pay for a seat on the Peace Council for Gaza," said Prime Minister Mark Carney.
