The Prime Minister of Portugal, Luís Montenegro, announced this Thursday that he will begin consultations with the President of the country, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and with Parliament in order to evaluate the recognition of Palestine as a State during the United Nations General Assembly to be held in September, thus joining other Western countries.
