Paw Paw River to appear red during sea lamprey control prep

Don’t be alarmed if you see parts of the Paw Paw River appear pink or red this week. Officials are preparing for a sea lamprey treatment. The Great Lakes Fishery Commission says a harmless dye will be released into the river between September 23 and 27. The discoloration is temporary and safe.
