3h. Madeira elections. Pedro Nuno Santos assumes defeat of the PS, but refuses national readings of the results

Paulo Cafôfo, the socialist leader in the autonomous region, says he continues to lead the party until the local elections.

The socialist general secretary, Pedro Nuno Santos, accepted the defeat of the PS/Madeira in the regional elections and refused to draw any conclusions from the early legislative elections.
