Paul Larry Verret, 88, of Lake Charles passed away at 2:23 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025 in a local hospital. Mr. Verret was born on July 12, 1937, in Lake Charles, La.  After being drafted into the U.S. Army as a young man, he proudly completed his high school education while serving his country as a baker.
