Patient records to go digital, as hospitals ditch the fax machine
The Single Digital Patient Record will unify nine medical record systems to improve care and reduce delays, covering over 220 hospitals by 2028, NSW Health said.
Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) will begin in the Hunter in March. The NSW Health system will store patient medical records. Michelle Stubbs is involved.
