ELKINS, W.Va. (WBOY) — Part of Spruce Mountain Road, the access road to West Virginia's highest point, will be closed until August. The Monongahela National Forest said Friday that heavy rainfall on July 14 caused a land slide on Spruce Mountain Road/Forest Road (FR) 112 which made the road unsafe.
