Chan-wook is the first South Korean to head the jury that awards the prestigious Palme d'Or. He has been a regular at Cannes since “Oldboy” won the Grand Prix, or second prize, in 2004.
The performer takes place at the French actress Juliette Binoche in the chairmanship of the jury of the film festival, marked for May in France. It is the first time South Korea is taking up this task in Cannes.
