Two women appeared before the Paris court on Thursday 30 October for human trafficking and pimping and were accused of enslaving seven Thai masseuses from 2020 to 2024.
After a complaint filed in March by two employees, the trial of a manager of a massage salon and her daughter opened this Thursday in Paris for trafficking in human beings and hidden work. Of Thai origin, they incur up to 10 years in prison and 1.5 million euros in fine.
The prosecutor's office demanded a four-year prison sentence against the manager of a massage facility, prosecuted for trafficking in human beings and concealment of employment, while her daughter received a one-year suspended motion for complicity.
