- During a Devils on the Run tour stop in Gettysburg, Dan Rivera, senior lead investigator for NESPR, died unexpectedly, with emergency responders performing CPR at his hotel.
- After the Warrens' Occult Museum closed in 2019, Rivera helped expand the Devils on the Run tour via viral TikTok videos with Ryan Daniel Buell.
- At the Gettysburg stop, organizers sold over 1,260 tickets across the weekend of July 11, 2025, and emergency responders performed CPR at Rivera’s hotel that night.
- We are heartbroken and still processing this loss, New England Society for Psychic Research said on Wednesday, as tributes poured in from the paranormal community.
- NESPR plans to proceed with its scheduled 2025 events, with Annabelle appearing in Augusta, Maine on September 6 and 7, Illinois on October 4, and Lexington, Kentucky from October 17 to 19.
