The Department of Internal Trade reiterates that bottled palm oil prices have not yet increased. They are closely monitoring the situation from supply to distribution to prevent opportunistic exploitation of the public and are preparing to review stricter controls on controlled goods to ensure they are appropriate for the current situation.
Mr. Witiyakorn Maneenet, Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, revealed that Thailand currently has a stock of approximately 350,000 tons of crude palm oil (CPO), which is sufficient for domestic management.
