Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (90) will pay a two-day visit to Moscow on January 21, the Russian news agency TASS reports. A source at the Palestinian embassy confirmed to TASS that Abbas plans to meet President Vladimir Putin during his stay. The last time Abbas visited Moscow was in May last year, in connection with the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, which the Russians refer to as "Victory Day". (NTB)
