[Yomitan] In late February, the Okinawa orchid, designated as an endangered species (Category 2) in the Ministry of the Environment's Red Data Book, was confirmed to be blooming in Yomitan Village. The flower's petals resemble those of an orchid. The pale purple petals are small, and the plant is less than 10 centimeters tall.
