Sale of Paige Bueckers Jersey Sets WNBA Record
MeiGray said the authenticated, photo-matched jersey is now the most expensive WNBA game-worn item sold as demand for women’s sports collectibles rises.
Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers set a new WNBA memorabilia record when her May 16, 2025, debut jersey sold for $64,720 through MeiGray, effectively doubling the previous high-water mark for a game-worn WNBA uniform.
The previous record for a WNBA jersey belonged to A ja Wilson at $32,150 for a 2025 WNBA Finals uniform, but Bueckers' debut item essentially doubled that valuation in just six months.
While Billie Jean King's famed "Battle of the Sexes" racket holds the overall women's sports memorabilia record at $125,000, MeiGray president Barry Meisel noted that Bueckers' jersey demonstrates growing appetite for authenticated game-worn items.
During a recent practice, Bueckers expressed gratitude for the investment in women's sports, jokingly remarking that she "wouldn't pay $10 for my own jersey" before saying records are meant to be broken.
The Dallas Wings have started the 2026 season with a 5-3 record and are well-positioned to snap their three-season postseason drought, led by Bueckers and newly drafted teammate Azzi Fudd.
