Packers' Micah Parsons Begins Practicing as He Gets Closer to Making His 2026 Season Debut
Matt LaFleur said Parsons is hopeful to return after 21 days on the roster clock once he resumes practice.
Green Bay Packers All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons will participate in individual drills on Wednesday, marking his first practice since tearing his ACL and meniscus last December.
Parsons underwent surgery on December 29, 2025, to repair the torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee, keeping him on the physically unable to perform list all season.
Despite his absence, the Packers hold a 5-3 record heading into Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, ranking 10th in scoring defense and second in the NFL in takeaways.
The team has not officially opened his 21-day practice window, though head coach Matt LaFleur noted, "It's going to be a process trying to get him back."
NFL insider Ian Rapoport indicated the Packers plan a cautious approach, with Parsons likely not playing until the nationally televised Week 12 game against the Los Angeles Rams on November 25.
