Pa. siblings charged with animal cruelty after hundreds of ‘sewer rats’ found in condemned home
Several hundred rats were found in April living inside a condemned home in Steelton under the care of two siblings, police said in court documents.Jennifer Busch, 43, and her brother, Thomas Busch, 37, were charged Wednesday with animal cruelty for their treatment of the “sewer rats,” some of which were caged, Steelton police wrote in an affidavit of probable cause.
