Ocean City Council Rejects Wonderland Proposal; Mita Will Look to Sell Property

Ocean City Council's 6-1 vote against redevelopment halted ICONA Resorts' 252-room hotel plan, prompting owner Eustace Mita to list the former Wonderland Pier property for $25 million.

After a 6-1 vote not to consider the Wonderland property as a potential area in need of rehabilitation, the developer said he’ll sell and walk away from the Icona hotel plan for Ocean City.
