Part of I-35 Closed Near Vivion Road After Oversized Load Hits Bridge

JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, JUL 25 – The oversized load caused metal containers to spill, closing northbound I-35 near Vivion Road; no injuries reported, crews working to clear the highway, Missouri Highway Patrol said.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The northbound lanes of Interstate 35 near Northeast Vivion Road are closed after a truck hauling an oversized load hit a bridge Friday morning in Kansas City, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The highway patrol said the northbound lanes will remain closed until the Missouri Department of Transportation can assess the damage.
