[Nago] On the 7th, a Taiwan cherry tree was observed blooming out of season along Prefectural Road 84 in Nakayama, Nago City. Approximately 50 pink blossoms were attached to the tips of branches about 4 meters high, delighting drivers. Masao Nashiro (79), a resident of the same district who heard about the blooming, said, "The Taiwan cherry trees along the prefectural road were planted around 1975."
