Ötzi is one of the most thoroughly researched people in history. Nevertheless, the glacier mummy keeps science busy to this day – and always raises new questions.
On 19 September 1991 the glacial pond was discovered by accident. Investigations date it to 5,300 years and make it one of the most important mummies.
