- The Committee adopted amendments to the Bill, and Majority Leader Babajide Kofoworola moved a motion to support the amendment, seconded by Tajudeen Adeyemi .
- Speaker Adewale Egbedun explained that the participation of State Houses was necessary to advance the constitutional amendment process, which would improve states' capacity to deploy security personnel.
