WILMINGTON, Ohio – A two-vehicle fatal crash occurred Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of State Route 73 and McCoy Road, according to Lt. Jeff Madden of the Wilmington post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. At around 12:40 p.m., Madden said a vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Rumpke garbage truck. A driver is dead after crashing into a garbage truck in Clinton County, according to a spokesperson with Rumpke. The crash happened around 12:40 p.m. on SR-73 in Wilmington, the spokesperson said.
