Cathay Life Insurance, based in Taiwan, will acquire 50% of Orsted’s Greater Changhua 4 marine wind farm through its subsidiary Cathay Wind Power Holdings. The Greater Changhua 4 site is part of Orsted’s Greater Changhua 2b and Orsted’s 4 of 920MW marine wind farms, which the Danish developer is currently building and is expected to finish by the end of 2025.
