Orono library’s $8.6M expansion will move forward despite falling short of fundraising goal

The Orono Public Library Foundation is continuing to raise money for its library expansion while moving onto the next step of the $8.62 million project. A push for donations in July brought in more than a quarter of a million dollars, but the foundation is roughly $219,000 short of its goal.
