Orlando Pirates and Heineken South Africa launch a five-year deal to enhance fan experience and stadium identity at the newly named Orlando Amstel Arena.
- On Tuesday Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza announced Orlando Stadium was renamed the Orlando Amstel Arena at a formal unveiling attended by club executives, partners, supporters and media.
- Amstel, via Heineken South Africa, secured the stadium naming rights in a five-year commercial agreement concluded late last year, deepening a partnership that began last year.
- The venue, long cherished by fans, opened in 1959 and hosted home matches for more than 65 years, while Pirates and Amstel stressed the deal includes investment and long-term commitment.
- Supporters will see a people-led ceremony on 27 January 2026, and the Orlando Amstel Arena hosts its first match on 31 January at 18:00 when Pirates welcome Magesi.
