Oral arguments begin in case involving Benton teen’s fatal shooting by police | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

ST. LOUIS -- The nearly decade-long saga of the parents of a distraught and suicidal Benton teenager who was shot and killed by police as he stood next to the Saline River with a gun to his head could be approaching a final resolution after attorneys for the parents and for the city of Benton argued their respective cases at the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday.
