Yesterday (Feb. 10) at around 4:50 p.m., Upper Ottawa Valley OPP received a call for service in Pembroke about an individual attempting to break into vehicles. When officers arrived to the area, the suspect had already fled in a stolen vehicle. A hunt ensued down Hwy. 17, where Renfrew officers deployed a spike strip, with no effect.
