Superior opened the football game Friday evening Sept. 11, with a tribute nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the September 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. 25 years ago. The flag was flown at half mass, the Wildcat band played the national anthem and the honor guard presented the colors as the special tribute was read.
