Ontario racetracks reach agreement in months-long dispute over $35M in provincial funding: track officials

An agreement has been reached in a months-long dispute over how $35 million in provincial funding for Ontario horse-racing tracks will be distributed, say officials with Fort Erie and Woodbine tracks. The historic Fort Erie Race Track no longer fears potential layoff, and may grow the facility and purse, a spokesperson says.
