- Ontario International Airport unveiled a new monument at Archibald Avenue and Airport Drive, with PRNewswire calling it a striking visual statement of the airport's transformation.
- As part of a yearlong Decade of Local Control celebration, the Ontario International Airport Authority said the unveiling marks 10 years since ownership transferred on November 1, 2016, and culminates this November.
- Featuring three 12-foot 'ONT' letters, the installation spans roughly 60 feet across, weighs more than eight tons, and includes programmable LED light bars for color-changing illumination.
- Replacing the 1998 sign, the new monument at Ontario International Airport signals regional pride, according to the Ontario International Airport Authority.
