An 18-month-old girl died on Thursday after being forgotten inside a car belonging to a day care center in Almada, a city in the metropolitan region of Lisbon, Portugal. According to the Portuguese press, the child remained for about seven hours inside the car, parked at a temperature of about 30°C, before being found already in critical condition. The Judicial Police opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the case.
